Description
Our eco yoga farm is a place to disconnect from your daily routine and join ours. It is set amid beautiful mountains, rivers, waterfalls, and mist less than one hour away from Bogota. The farm has been here for 30 years so we are well-established and have everything here to make your volunteer time comfortable and relaxed. You´ll work, but we hope you have a good time as well!
As a volunteer you'll: connect or reconnect with nature. Volunteer activities include organic gardening, environmentally friendly construction/design projects, working in the vegetarian restaurant-kitchen, and working with art and educational programs for the children living in and around the community.
In exchange for 4 hours of work per day (usually in the morning) you receive 3 vegetarian or vegan meals per day, accommodation in the volunteer casa, and access to many of the farm's other activities in your free afternoons like daily yoga, hiking, cinema, cooking classes, volunteer teaching english in Granada, philosophy class, various spiritual workshops and so much more!
Where you´ll stay: The farm offers a cozy volunteer casa that sleeps up to 20 people with your own shared bathrooms for the house, living room and bunkbeds.
There is a fee to stay and help support the farm, however, it is a small donation to help support a beautiful eco farm and community. For stays of less than 2 weeks we ask for a donation of 20 mil COP ($10 USD). If you would like to stay longer, than we are happy to offer a discount.
Acommodation is in a separate apartment attached to the house (or in a spare bedroom if more than 1 or 2 volunteers are here at a time). Basic but comfortable, the apartment includes a private bathroom and shower, a shared outdoor shower and laundry area, and a double bed w/ mosquito-netting (suitable for 1 volunteer or a couple). And it stays cool during even the hottest days!
Diet
The farm has its own organic lacto-vegetarian/vegan organic kitchen, with an excellent and tasteful menu of Latinoamerican and Indian dishes. The volunteer program includes full board (breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner).

Hi, My name is Uriel. Actually I live in Paipa, Boyacá, planning to begin an organic garden with my partner and friend Carlos. We also are yoga practicants. We would like to have a experience with you to learn about organic gardering, to have special yoga practices and to share with you out idea about happiness. We are 42 and 48 years old, we are very healthy and we are in full capacity to support the Village with our job. I have a dos, her name is Gaira, she is a Labrador, a veru happy and calm dog. If we decide to particpate as volunteers, she could come with me to the village? Of course, she will be my responsability... Thanks
